Outdoor Kitchens

Have you ever noticed how everybody seems to gather in the kitchen? It’s no different when you take the party outdoors. The Outdoor Kitchen has become the heart of the modern backyard.

The Ultimate Social Space!

An outdoor kitchen is not only a more enjoyable and efficient way of cooking outdoors, it lets you, as the cook or “grill master” be  part of the social atmosphere of your backyard gathering. Incorporate a bar height counter top and your guests will be right there with you while you’re cooking!

Outdoor Kitchens can be as simple or elaborate as you’d like. Above is an example of a small kitchen that is simple but very functional. It includes a sink with running water, a small fridge, a built in grill with a cabinet underneath for propane, draws for appliances / cutlery and plenty of counter top space for food prep and serving. If you don’t want a built in grill, or you already have a grill, an opening can be created so the you’re grill will slide in and out as you choose.

Appliance Options Galore!

You can choose from our standard kitchen packages or you can create your own, it’s up to you. Here are some options:

Gas Grill – Charcoal Grill – Smoker – Side Burner – Pot Burner – Fridge – Sink- -Trash – Ice Maker – Wine Cooler – Beverage Center

The list goes on, but you get the idea, your kitchen can be as simple or as elaborate as you like. Straight, L Shape or U Shape, you can have as much counter top space as you feel you need. Concrete, granite, quartz or tile. You can have any type of counter top that fits you best.

Stronger And More Affordable!

Random Rock Full Kitchen

Our concrete panel system is made of 10,000 psi GFRC concrete and even though they are incredibly strong they don’t weigh enough to require footers so they can be built right on your existing patio. You also have the choice of a matching or complimentary colored concrete counter top made of the same 10,000 psi concrete. Of course if you would rather granite or quartz that option is still available to you.

One more advantage besides being more affordable than traditional kitchens are that the concrete panels are poured off site and brought to your backyard where they are then assembled with appliances installed in two days with absolutely no mess or damage to your yard!

What Is The Best Time Of Year To Install A Pool?

The answer is Winter and Fall. The end of summer and into the Fall months are easily the best time of year to install a swimming pool.

The reasons are pretty simple. For one the weather starts to cool off making for better working conditions for the installers.

A second reason is a “stress free installation”. The swim season is over so there is no pressure of “upcoming party” time lines that need to be met and the kids aren’t asking every day “can we swim yet?” Also if an unforeseen delay pops up it can be handled in a timely and stress free manner.

Another reason is that fall is a great time to plant. Pool installations wreak havoc on a backyard so installing in the Fall gives you plenty of time to get your yard back in shape in plenty of time before Spring and swim season.

A fourth reason is that some pool manufacturers and installers give Fall & Winter discounts which offers the homeowner a chance to save a few bucks.

One last reason is that most pool manufacturers raise prices at the beginning of the new year and this gives the homeowner another way to save  some money.

Granted the one drawback is that you won’t get to use the pool right away but if you can get past that one fact the Fall is clearly the best time to have a swimming pool installed in your backyard.
